Especially for those sophisticated traveler souls we have prepared something special: a little explored route consisting in visiting an ancient city Xochicalco, built by Aztecs in II century BC and found by archeologists in VII century and in visiting a million year old Cacahuamilpa caves. Early in the morning we head the road to Morelos state, where you will start the journey by visiting and amazing ancient aztec city – Xochicalco. There are a lot of wonderful and unique architectural masterpiece to explore in Xochicalco, like the Temple of the Feathered Serpent, elaborately decorated inside with the images of Feathered Serpent God which looks like it girds the entire temple; city building shinning with the relief of a rare beauty; underground sun observatory; pyramid like temples; the underground temple with carved out of stone steps and much more. It is remarkable, that a lot of artifacts found in this city are now exhibited in National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City.
All impressed by the beauty and historical value of Xochicalco you are now heading the road to Guerrero state to explore natural caves called Cacahuamilpa which happens to be the biggest cave system in the world! Despite of being discovered in XVIII century this cave system is only half explored! Such a natural miracle can ́t leave anybody indifferent! Your will explore Cacahuamilpa caves walking though natural hallway with a total length of 10 km. Every corridor is naturally decorated by nature million years ago in a very unique way. The hallway decorations are naturally renewed every hundred years due to the growth and withering away of new parts. Illuminated hallway tracks gives and impression of being in another reality or fantasy world. There are a lot of caves in the world, but this is one of a kind.
