During this expedition, you will be floating on boats through the reserve’s lush mangroves, taking in the awe-inspiring sights of flocks of flamingos, crocodiles, and a diverse array of bird species. In addition, you will have the opportunity to snap incredible photos amidst the backdrop of natural pink lakes and even swim in the Gulf of Mexico, among other activities.

By booking our tour, you will receive an extensive list of exciting and informative experiences, including a visit to the pink lakes of Las Coloradas. Here, you will be able to take pictures of the stunning pink lagoons and gain a comprehensive understanding of the salt production process. Our tour also includes a 2.5-hour boat trip through the mangroves of the Rio Lagartos Biosphere Reserve, which will provide you with an unforgettable opportunity to observe flamingo flocks, meet with different types of migratory birds, encounter crocodiles and other lagoon inhabitants.

We offer an exfoliation treatment in the Mayan style, using natural white clay, as well as the opportunity to swim in the Gulf of Mexico on the beach of the Rio Lagartos lagoon. Lastly, our tour will conclude with a visit to the Itzamkanac Crocodile Farm, providing you with a unique and informative experience.
