This is an exclusive combined tour for active travelers, where you can visit the largest and most famous archaeological complex of the Yucatan Peninsula, “Chichen Itza”, swim in the fresh waters of the famous cenote “IK-Kil”, as well as to wade on a boat through the mangroves of the biosphere reserve Rio Lagartos and see the valley of natural pink lakes “Las Coloradas”. All sights in one day!

This private tour can be easily described as “impossible is possible” & it includes:

  • A visit to one of the ancient cities that do not require special presentation, “Chichen-Itza”. Here you will get acquainted with the history of the city and Indian tribes, see the legendary pyramid of Kukulkan, the temple of Warriors, the sacrificial well, the astronomical Observatory, also known as “Karakol”, a field for ritual ball game “Pok-ta-Pok” and many other impressive buildings, full of the secrets of history, myths and legends.
  • Swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the mineral karst lake (cenote) IK-Kil, which is well know among travelers for its incredible beauty and the “Avatar” movie like scenery.
  • Exploration of the nature of the Ria Lagartos biosphere reserve, where you will wade on a boat through the mangroves and crocodiles looking for the flocks of pink flamingos.
  • Descent to the valley of the pink lakes “Las Coloradas”, where due to the high concentration of salt and minerals, the water has acquired a rich pink color, and its consistency can be compared with the waters of the dead sea.

The guide was informative, professional, attentive and I just can’t say enough to let you know what a great day we had. Smartest thing I ever did finding this company. Absolutely positive all around.

The guide was extremely nice and he was very informed and was happy to answer any questions we had. He led us through various activities at Chichén Itzá and throughout the day to keep us entertained. Would highly recommend this tour and also very welcoming for children as well.

Excellent all around!! Galo was our tour guide and he was incredible! Bus was large and had plenty of space for any souvenirs purchased and bags. All of the stops up to and including the Chichen-Itza was amazing and well worth it. Incredible experience! Highly recommend

An absolute must, the tour was awsome, the guide explanation were great, the purification ceremony a wonderful experience and the temazcal top ! Swimming at night in the cenote is amazing.

We loved this tour. This is not the typical “go to a restaurant and try different things”, it’s a cultural experience. Very educational and everything that we had was delicious. Our guide explained how the market worked and why it worked that way. Understanding and immersing yourself into a culture is what traveling is about, and that is what this tour does. If your looking for a taste of “real” Mexican foods and culture, this is it!
