The mystery of this altar remains unsolved and a lot of scientists and historians still argue about it’s origin, putting forward scientific as well as mythical theories. Chichen Itza is one of the ancient cities which is not needed to be presented, because it’s main building – the Kukulkan pyramid was named one of the new 7 world wonders.
